'Traditional' rally held in Shibganj

A traditional rally was held in Shibganj, Bogura, with the determination to build a future Bangladesh based on equality and humanity. Shibganj Upazila BNP President Mir Shahe Alam presided over the traditional rally held at the Uthali High School ground in the upazila at 3 pm on Friday.
Jayanta Kumar Kundu, Co-Organizing Secretary of the BNP National Executive Committee, spoke as the chief guest at the traditional rally. Swadhin Kumar Kundu, Vice-President of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Front and former Mayor of Sherpur Municipality, spoke as the special guest. Parimal Chandra Das, President of the Bogura District Branch of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad and former Panel Mayor of Bogura Municipality, spoke as the main speaker. Also speaking at the event were Shibganj Upazila BNP General Secretary Adv. Abdul Wahab, BNP leaders Mahabub Alam Manik, SM Tajul Islam, Khalid Hasan Arman, Mir Shakrul Alam Simanto, Upazila Puja Udjapan Parishad President Ram Narayan Kanu, Ashish Roy, Subir Dutta, Paltan Kumar Nayan and others.
BNP leaders Bulbul Islam, Abdul Karim, Faruk Ahmed, Master Harunur Rashid, M Abu Taher, Tofail Ahmed Sabu, Masud Rana Masum, Raihanul Haque Roni, Bipul Rahman, Mir Moon and leaders of the Upazila Municipal BNP and its affiliates were present.
Thousands of traditional community members of the upazila were present at the event.
