Youth's dead body recovered from abandoned pond in Ashulia

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified young man from an abandoned pond in Ashulia.
The dead body recovered from an abandoned pond beside Bipayle fish market in Ashulia on Wednesday morning. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
OC Ashulia police station, Nure Alam Siddique confirming the matter said that the body was recovered from the spot after being informed through emergency service 999 & the identity of the deceased had not been ascertained yet. The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has been informed for further investigation.
The body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Primarily, it is assumed that the young man may have died three to four days ago. Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard, he added.
