Workshop on Environment, Climate and Renewable Energy with students in Moheshkhali

A workshop to motivate students to work for the protection of the Moheshkhali island, agricultural land, Kohelia river, hills, mangrove preservation, use of renewable energy, and climate prevention on n Wednesday.
A special workshop was held with students at the hall room of Kalarmarchhara Yunuskhali Nasir Uddin High School, organised by the Bangladesh Environmental Movement (BAPA) Moheshkhali Regional Branch and the Coastal Protection Forum (USF).
The main speaker at the workshop was Abu Bakkar Siddique, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Environmental Movement (BAPA) Moheshkhali Regional Branch.
He said, to protect the Moheshkhali island, it is necessary to work on protecting agricultural land, the Kohelia river, hills, mangrove preservation, using renewable energy, and climate prevention. Especially, students must come together as a coalition to play a leading role.
Also speaking was Emran Sarwar, ICT teacher of Nasir Uddin High School.
He said, protecting the island is everyone's responsibility; if the island is not well protected, the 400,000 residents of Moheshkhali will live in insecurity. Everyone must unite and work from their respective positions.
