Unity, not Hatred

Unity, not Hatred

Sadik Ahmed Pranto

When someone dies in a war or attack, it is the life of a human being that is lost. A war is never fought for religion; rather, it is usually driven by economic and political power struggles.

Jewish people have made significant contributions across various fields worldwide—science, medicine, law, art—everywhere their contributions are commendable. Many Jews have criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

The ongoing human rights violations by the Israeli government in Palestine shake our conscience. Child killings, occupation, and blockades—none of these can ever be justified. However, protesting against these injustices should not lead to hatred of an entire nation or religion. Judgment should be based on actions and individuals.

The core principles of Islam are humanity, tolerance, and justice. Therefore, dividing people based on their religion, nationality, gender, or region should never be the cause of discord.

Let us unite against injustice, regardless of religion, and love humanity as humans, without creating divisions. Besides, it should be remembered that in the age of global capitalism, there are no regional products. All products are driven by profit.
