Two-day Science Fair held in Dohar

The two-day 46th Science Fair-2025 was held on the grounds of Joypara Government Pilot Model High School in Doha Upazila. This two-day science fair will be held from Wednesday to Thursday.

To encourage students to practice science at the upazila level, students who came to the fair presented their innovations in a joyful atmosphere and with enthusiasm of the students. Students from 21 schools of the upazila displayed their innovations at 21 stalls called 'Khude Scientistor Rajyo' in this science fair.

Organized by the upazila administration, the science fair was inaugurated by Tania Tabashsum, Upazila Executive Officer of Doha and the chief guest of the event. Later in the afternoon, a discussion meeting was held with students and guardians.

Also present at the event were Doha Upazila Education Officer Md. Rakibul Hasan, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Md. Shamim Ahmed, Upazila Engineer Raju Alam, Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Turaj, Upazila ICT Officer Md. Mohsin Hossain, Daffodils High School Headmaster Md. Ershad Hossain, Joypara Government Model Pilot High School Acting Headmaster Khandaker Mushtaq Ahmed, Islamabad High School Headmaster Nuwe Alam Siddiqui, among others.

Students from Government Begum Ayesha Pilot Girls' High School, Government Pilot High School, Daffodils High School, Islamabad High School, Malikanda School and College, Kartikpur High School, Kabi Nazrul Girls' High School, Narisha High School, Narisha Girls' High School, Muksedpur Shamsuddin High School, Muksedpur Girls' High School, Satvita High School, Abdul Hamid High School and other educational institutions participated in the day-long fair.
