
Smugglers, human traffickers will not be spared : Home Secretary

Home Ministry Senior Secretary Nasimul Ghani has stated that notes are being taken on smugglers and human traffickers, emphasizing that no one will be spared. Several operations have already been carried out to recover illegal arms.
He made these remarks on Tuesday at 11 a.m., following a surprise visit to Ramu Police Station in Cox’s Bazar.
He further said that human trafficking is a national issue and urged everyone to come forward to prevent it. “We will now make a collective effort so that our forces can stand strong and earn the trust of the people. The government is giving this issue the highest priority,” he added.
District Superintendent of Police Md. Saifuddin Shaheen and Officer-in-Charge of Ramu Police Station Iman Kanti Chowdhury were also present.
