Sherpur District Agricultural Loan Committee meet held

The meeting of the Sherpur District Agricultural Loan Committee was held on Sunday afternoon at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Farida Yasmin presided over the session. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Saiful Islam Kamal, upazila nirbahi officers from various upazilas across the district, banking officials, and other relevant stakeholders.
Discussions during the meeting centered on the overall development of the agricultural sector, ensuring farmers receive easy and timely agricultural loans, and tracking the progress of loan disbursement and recovery.
Emphasizing key priorities, the participants stressed the importance of providing agricultural loans to farmers on easy terms according to their needs, accelerating disbursement activities, and fostering coordinated efforts among relevant banks and government offices to boost agricultural growth.
