Scravator destroyed for illegally cutting soil from cropland in Tongibari

A scravator was destroyed for cutting soil from a farmer's cropland with a scravator in the Gnaisha area of Panchgaon Union in Tongibari Upazila of Munshiganj.
Tongibari Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Wazed Wasif conducted the operation on Thursday morning.
According to local sources, Jewel Chokder, son of the deceased Abu Bakar Chokder of the area, was cutting soil from cropland with a cultivator to build a pond. Upon receiving the information, Tongibari Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Wazed Wasif conducted an operation in the area and destroyed the cultivator.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Wazed Wasif said that upon receiving the information about the cutting of soil from cropland, he went to the land and warned the cultivator and destroyed it. The operation will continue.
