Sandhani Life Insurance approves 12% cash dividend at 36th AGM
Sandhani Life Insurance Company Limited approved a 12 percent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2025 during its 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on a virtual platform on Tuesday.
Company Chairman Mujibul Islam presided over the meeting, highlighting the insurer's business performance during the previous year and outlining strategic directions for future operations.
Company Vice-Chairperson Golam Fatima Tahera Khanam, Director Shafaf Rahman Sad, Board of Directors members, Chief Executive Officer Nimai Kumar Saha, and Chief Financial Officer (Current Charge) Md. Mahbubur Rahman attended the virtual meeting, which was conducted by Company Secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman.
The 12 percent cash dividend had previously been recommended by the Board of Directors following the review and approval of the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025. The record date for dividend entitlement was set on August 26.
According to the audited financial report, Sandhani Life Insurance reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Tk 1.20 for the year, while its Net Asset Value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 18. Shareholders expressed satisfaction with the company's progress and approved all agenda items for 2025 through electronic voting.
