Popular Life hands over Tk 2.87 cr insurance claim cheques in Patuakhali
Popular Life Insurance PLC handed over insurance claim cheques totaling Tk 2,87,62,400 (Tk 2 crore 87 lakh 62 thousand 4 hundred) to policyholders of its Patuakhali region on Saturday (Sept 26).
The event was held at the Patuakhali District Shilpakala Academy auditorium as part of the company's ongoing special drive to ensure swift settlement of insurance claims.
BM Yousuf Ali, Managing Director and CEO of Popular Life Insurance PLC and President of Bangladesh Insurance Forum, attended the program as the chief guest and handed over the claim cheques to the recipients.
Speaking on the occasion, BM Yousuf Ali said, "We are extremely delighted to settle our policyholders' insurance claims in a timely manner. Fulfilling the promises made to our customers is one of the primary goals of Popular Life."
The program was chaired by Project In-charge Md. Mijanur Rahman Howlader. Additional Managing Director BM Showkat Ali, Senior Deputy Managing Director Syed Motahar Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Kamal Hossain and Md. Khalilur Rahman Sikder, and Project Director Masud Rana Masum were present as special guests, alongside other senior officials of the company.
