This world is moving toward a touch of modernism. Day by day the civilization has been changed. The world and the motion of change of man are going hand by hand. Technology is developing gradually. Also, society and civilization are improving. People couldn't think of something before a few decades, but that is near at hand of man now.

There are many social media for social communication, like Facebook, Twitter, Viber, YouTube, IMO, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc. There are many software programs for entertainment and more gaming apps. The world is now at hand. Computer programming systems, different educational websites, and online-based e-papers, e-books, e-commerce, e-learning, e-passports, and e-markets have. Besides, there are various categories of electronic services that arrive at the peak of progress to us. Life has been easy and time-consuming. Robots are working using artificial intelligence in opposition to people. A few days ago in India, Lisa, a reporter who telecast news was a robot.

People depend on technology constantly. We are strongly saying that technology is like oxygen, which has mixed veins and subveins in the body. Death is sure for a single wrong of blood supply. Life, technology, and modernism—these three words are based on the same source. The change of life and the progress of technology are continuing modernism. We are constantly playing with the whole world by the magic of modernity. Staying at home, we are communicating with Canada, America, Japan, and various countries around the world.

No need to go to the office for business, no need to go to educational institutions for learning. Today, children aren’t going to the field to play in the afternoon; they aren't interested in learning to cook with their mother. No need for a runner to arrive with a letter at the destination. All of these can be learnt at home using the magic box called the internet.

Advanced technology takes away too much and gives us too little. I am not saying that; there is no need for advanced technology or modernism. Have to need, need for the right use of technology. Does modernity mean dying while playing games? Does modernity mean a divorced wife making an illegal relationship via messenger? Does modernity mean keeping parents at a nursing home? Modernity is never to give up one's own Scripture and practice other subcultures. A few days ago, I went to Dhaka by train. The son of an RAB officer was playing an online football game. In this situation, he got a phone call. He was so addicted that he did not give the mobile phone to receive the call to his father.

Even some days ago, our golden children weren’t like boiler hens. They would practice football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and kabaddi in the afternoon. Today, this is the little number who are playing in the field. There is no alternative to play for well health, competence, and physical and mental fitness. In educational institutes, students are not interested in hearing their teachers' speeches now. Even if they don’t know, they don’t ask their teacher to know anything. Because, going to the home, they will learn online or Google. If education could be achieved this way, the government would not spend millions of taka on education every year. We are becoming dependent on the invisible hand day by day. Which suppresses us from doing something, from thinking of something new, from discovering something new. This invisible hand is destroying the living entity that is capable of discovering something new.

Even a few decades ago, when technology was not used, famous people like Mukundaram, Bharatchandra Raygunakar, Vidyapati, Chandidas, Alaol, Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar, and Rabindranath Tagore were born. Nowadays, with the touch of modernity, the number of thieves, robbers, rapists, kidnappers, hackers, and extortionists has increased day by day. Even mobile phone-based services are being harassed by consumers due to lack of development.

People will make mistakes and learn from their mistakes and use them in every aspect of life. When will people learn from their mistakes? When people come out of that magic box called the invisible hand and avoid the feeling of dependency and awaken their self-esteem. Because there is a world of difference between making something in advance and making it yourself. Therefore, we should accept the positive aspects of technology and help build a smart Bangladesh.
