A prayer and discussion meeting was held to pray for the forgiveness of the souls of all the martyrs, including Shaheed Asif, in the July Uprising.
The program was organized by the Satkhira district branch of Askarpur Shaheed Asif Adarsh Bandhu Mahal on Saturday after the Zuhr prayers at Katia Shahi Mosque.
Mufti Hafizur Rahman, Khatib of Shahi Mosque, led the prayers under the chairmanship of Arafat Hossain, President of Askarpur Shaheed Asif Adarsh Bandhu Mahal Satkhira District Branch.

Hafez Abdur Rakib recited the Quran at the event, and Hafez Tamim Iqbal presented the Naat of the Prophet (PBUH).
Also speaking at the event were Rakibul Hasan, younger brother of Satkhira's martyr Asif in the July Uprising, organization advisor Arghya Bin Jewel, vice-presidents Imamul Hasan, Al Mamun, general secretary Rakibul Morol, treasurer Mujahidul Islam, and others.
The event expressed the desire for forgiveness for the souls of the martyrs and the determination to create awareness against injustice across the country. The leaders of the organization, local youth, mosque committee members, representatives of various social organizations, students of Hafiziya Madrasa and journalists were present.
