PM Tarique Rahman holds bilateral meetings with Bhutanese PM, Maldivian VP at UN Headquarters

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held separate bilateral sideline meetings with Bhutanese Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay and Maldivian Vice President Uz. Hussain Mohamed Latheef at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Tuesday.
The Bangladesh Prime Minister is currently visiting New York to attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
During the meetings held on Tuesday, the leaders discussed strengthening existing bilateral relations and friendly ties between Bangladesh and the respective nations. The discussions encompassed mutual interests, regional development priorities, and multilateral cooperation at the international level.
The leaders also exchanged views on expanding technical, economic, and trade partnerships to enhance cooperation for the mutual benefit and welfare of the citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
