
Plantation program by Chhatra Dal in Dinajpur

As part of BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's vision of building a "Green Bangladesh" and protecting the environment, the leaders and activists of the party are implementing a nationwide tree plantation campaign. In line with this, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal organized a tree plantation program in Dinajpur.
The plantation program was held from morning till noon at various locations including the Dinajpur Government College campus on Monday.
As part of the 15-day central tree plantation program declared by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal on the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, the leaders and activists of the district Chhatra Dal organized this event. On Monday, the district Chhatra Dal planted around two hundred trees in different locations.
On 5 June, World Environment Day, BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman announced this tree plantation initiative. In his message, he outlined his perspective and plans for preventing environmental pollution.
The tree plantation program in Dinajpur was attended by Rubel Islam, Acting President of Dinajpur District Chhatra Dal, as the chief guest. Also present were Dinajpur District Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Nurnobi Shuvo, Publicity Secretary Nayon, Dinajpur Sadar Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Md. Milon, along with leaders and activists from Dinajpur Municipality and Government College Chhatra Dal.
