Opposition Leader Dr Shafiqur Rahman visits grave of Martyred journalist Turab in Beanibazar

Leader of the Opposition in the National Parliament and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited the grave of martyred journalist A. T. M. Turab in Beanibazar to pay his respects and offer prayers.
On Sunday morning, Dr. Rahman arrived at the graveyard in Fatehpur, situated within the Beanibazar Municipality, where he offered special prayers (dua) for the departed soul. During the visit, he met with the family of the slain journalist, expressing deep condolences to Turab's elder brother, Abu Azraf Md. Jabur, and other relatives.
Addressing those gathered, Dr. Rahman stated, "The country has been freed from fascism through the sacred blood of martyrs like journalist Turab."
A large gathering of local leaders and community figures accompanied the Opposition Leader, including Metropolitan Jamaat Amir Fakhrul Islam, District Jamaat Amir Maulana Habibur Rahman, District Secretary Zeyanal Abedin, Social Welfare Secretary Maulana Fayzul Islam, Upazila Jamaat Amir Mostafa Uddin, Naib-e-Amir Abul Khair, Pourashava Jamaat Amir Jamir Hossain, Naib-e-Amir Syed Abu Kawsar Kajal, Secretary Sad Uddin, and Upazila Jamaat Assistant Secretary Rukun Uddin. Beanibazar Press Club Vice President Abdul Hamid, Office Secretary Ahmed Reza Chowdhury, Upazila Shibir President Abdul Mumin, and Beanibazar Government College Shibir President Abu Sayeed, alongside other local political and social activists, were also present.
Earlier in the day, prior to visiting journalist Turab's resting place, the Opposition Leader visited the local graveyard to offer prayers at the graves of his late father-in-law, Dr. Azizur Rahman, and several other family members.
