One person killed in stabbing by miscreants in Sirajdikhan

A man named Saheb Ali (53) was stabbed to death in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj.
The incident took place at around 9 pm on Thursday in Paschim Ghoramara village of Basail union of the upazila. The deceased, Saheb Ali, is the son of Md. Chabed Ali of Ghoramara village.
Police and locals said that Saheb Ali was returning home after offering Isha prayers at the nearby Madinanagar Jama Masjid at around 9 pm on Thursday. When he reached near the house, the miscreants stabbed him and fled. At that time, upon hearing Saheb Ali's cries, the locals rescued him in a bloody state and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He died while undergoing treatment at around 12 am.
Md. Joynal, son of the deceased Saheb Ali, said, "My father was killed because of the land and deposit business. He also threatened to kill me on my father's mobile phone."
Sirajdikhan Police Station OC Habibur Rahman admitted the truth and said, "Many residents of the area have said that Saheb Ali was in the land business. He could have been killed due to a land dispute. Currently, the body is in the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Legal action is underway in this regard."
