Old man's death in motorcycle accident in Shyamnagar

An elderly man was killed in motorcycle accident in Shamnagar upazila of Satkhira on Tuesday at around 6 pm on the pitch road adjacent to the Kohari Bridge in the upazila. The deceased was the son of the deceased Jabbar Gazi of Atulia village of Atulia UP.Locals said Siddiqur Rahman is a visionary. The speeding motorcycle from the other side hit the road to cross the road. He was injured on the spot and later the people of the area admitted him to Shamnagar Upazila Health Complex.Shakir Hossain, a doctor working in the emergency department of the Upazila Health Complex, said that the condition of the injured patient was sent to Satkhira Medical College Hospital in the evening for better treatment. He died on the way to Satkhira Medical College Hospital.Shamnagar Police Station OC Md. Humayun Kabir Mollah confirmed the incident and said that the accidental motorcycle was recovered and taken to custody of Shamnagar police station.
