No legitimacy crisis of interim govt, but no plan will be sustainable keeping political parties in uncertainty: Tarique
Staff Correspondent
There is no crisis regarding the moral and political legality of the interim government, but it is not accountable to the people, BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahaman said today (25 May)."There may not be a crisis of moral and political legitimacy of the interim government. However, this government is not accountable to the people. Since the government is not accountable, it is necessary for the government to have specific plans clear to the people for moral reasons."In the end, no plan will be effective and sustainable by keeping the people in the dark and the political parties in uncertainty," he said while virtually addressing an event organised on the occasion of the National People's Party's founding anniversary in Dhaka.
