New UNO Sandeep Talukder interacts with journalists in Kamalganj

A meeting was held between the new UNO Sandeep Talukder and journalists from print and electronic media working in Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar.
The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad conference room on Thursday noon.
In the meeting moderated by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Riaz Mahmud, new UNO Sandeep Talukder sought the cooperation of journalists in the overall development of the upazila, maintenance of law and order, education, culture and public service activities. He said that journalists are the mirror of society and it is possible to ensure the development and good governance of an area by presenting objective news.
The positive role of journalists is very important in bringing the government's development activities to the doorsteps of the people and solving any problem in the area.
The meeting had an open discussion on various problems, prospects and future development plans of the upazila. At this time, local journalists presented the overall picture of the upazila and expressed various suggestions and opinions. The new UNO listened to the journalists with great sincerity and expressed hope to work together to implement public welfare and development work in phases.
Journalists from Kamalganj Press Club, Journalists Association, Kamalganj Reporters Unity and various print and electronic media were present at the meeting.
