Hafez Zakaria of Bauphal wins first place in Int'l Quran Competition

Hafez Nuruddin Zakaria, hailing from Bauphal Upazila under Patuakhali district, has secured first place in an international Quran competition, outshining 334 contestants from 133 countries.
He achieved this prestigious glory by demonstrating exceptional skill and mastery in the recitation and memorisation of the Holy Quran.
Hafez Nuruddin Zakaria is a brilliant youth from Aloki Chandkathi village under Dhulia Union of Bauphal upazila. He is currently a student at Raihan International Madrasa in Dhaka.
A total of 334 participants representing 133 nations took part in this prestigious global contest. By showing extraordinary proficiency, Hafez Zakaria bagged the top award, bringing immense joy and pride to the residents of Bauphal, Patuakhali, and across the nation.
Locals remarked that his triumph is not merely a moment of pride for his family or Bauphal, but an honor for all of Bangladesh. Following his success, his family members, teachers, and well-wishers offered prayers of gratitude to Almighty Allah.
