Mobile court operated by Upazila admin to prevent fishing with current nets in Karnaphuli

Mobile court has been conducted by the Upazila administration to prevent fisheries by illegal current nets in the Karnaphuli river.
On Saturday (April 12), a mobile court was conducted to prevent fishing by illegal current nets in the Karnaphuli river by the Boalkhali Upazila administration and the Boalkhali Fisheries Department.
Boalkhali Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kaniz Fatema conducted the operation.
In the expedition, 2 useless nets, 3,000 meters current mesh and 2 large crackers were seized and they were burned.
Upazila Fisheries Officer Naeem Hasan, Boalkhali Police Station Police and Fisheries Office officials were present during the operation.
