A memorial meeting and prayer mahfil was held in Baghia Bazar, Tongibari Upazila, Munshiganj for the forgiveness of the soul of veteran and respected physician Dr. Jalal Uddin Ahmed. The event was organized at the local BNP office on Friday at 5:30 pm under the initiative of Yaslong Union BNP and its affiliates.
The memorial meeting was presided over by Yaslong Union BNP Senior Vice President Abul Hashem Dhali. Union BNP President Khairul Kabir Kajal Halder was present as the chief guest at the event.
Also present at the time were Baghia Bazar Committee President Billal Hossain Mridha, Union BNP General Secretary Saidur Rahman Babul Halder, Organizing Secretary Abdul Qadir Sheikh, Office Secretary Abdur Rahim Dewan, Tongibari Upazila BNP Legal Affairs Secretary Sohel Rana, Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Convener Mofizul Islam Sagar, Convener Committee Member Alamgir Mridha, Jubo Dal Leader Johnny Halder, Krishak Dal President Sabuj Kazi, Chhatra Dal General Secretary Kamruzzaman Shakil and Former Office Secretary Md. Ujjwal Talukder, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its associate organizations.
Special prayers were offered during the doa mahfil, seeking the forgiveness of the soul of the late Dr. Jalal Uddin Ahmed.
