Market Linkage Workshop held in Joypurhat

A market linkage workshop was held in Joypurhat under the sub-project titled "Safe Fisheries and Value Added Fisheries Product Production and Marketing" with various entrepreneurs, fish sellers, feed and medicine sales representatives of the fisheries sector.
In the workshop organized at the conference room of "Bandhu Mithai and Dairy" in Joypurhat town on Wednesday afternoon, Joypurhat District Fisheries Officer Md. Masud Rana, Sadar Upazila Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam and the project's value chain facilitator Ariful Islam gave various guidance speeches in view of the various challenges faced by various entrepreneurs of the fisheries sector in marketing their fisheries and fisheries products.
In the workshop, farmers expressed interest in the production of safe fish and value-added fish products, marketing of these products, use of banned antibiotics, poultry litter, etc. in safe fish production.
At the same time, fish farmers are getting good success by cultivating the high-quality Chinese carp fish produced by him.
This sub-project is being implemented by the JAC Foundation with the technical and financial support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Danida and the Rural Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
