Following a social media video report by The Country Today journalist Md. Redwan Hossain, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal central general secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir has stepped forward to assist Md. Milon (28), a bone marrow patient from Subarnachar, Noakhali. Milon, a former garment worker and sole earner for his family—including a 5-year-old child and an eight-month pregnant wife—was forced to quit his job due to illness.
After his family exhausted around ৳5 lakh in loans and faced a daunting ৳15 lakh shortage for full treatment, Nasir contacted them and arranged advanced medical care at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in Dhaka. Grateful for the timely intervention, Milon's family has appealed to the affluent and humanitarian organizations for further aid to ensure his complete recovery.
