Jibannagar Family Planning Department provides special services on maternal, child health even during long Eid holiday

This year, various government, financial and service institutions of the country were caught up in the long holiday of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. However, Jibannagar continued to provide special services on maternal and child health even during the long Eid holiday.
It is learned that so that the long holiday does not have any impact on the health of mothers and children in rural areas, the Director General and Divisional Director of the Family Planning Department have given instructions to provide special services on maternal and child health during the holiday.
As per the instructions of the Family Planning Department, during the long holiday of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, special services on maternal and child health are provided from the Health and Family Welfare Centers of four unions, Utholi (former), Banka (former), Andulbaria and Simanta under the Family Planning Department of Jibannagar Upazila.
According to the Upazila Family Planning Office, during the long vacation period from June 5 to June 13, the staff of the Jibannagar Upazila Family Planning Department tirelessly provided various services as per the instructions of the Family Planning Department for 9 consecutive days.
Among the services, 29 pregnant mothers were provided with prenatal services and counseling from the Union Health and Family Welfare Center under the upazila and 3 delivery services were provided, 38 pregnant mothers were provided with prenatal services and counseling through mobile numbers from the pregnant list stored with mobile numbers in 4 centers, 17 mothers were provided with post-natal services, 3 mothers were organized, and 24 children were provided with general health services. In addition, family planning system-based services were provided.
