Health Sector Reform Commission holds meeting with stakeholders in Rangamati

The Health Sector Reform Commission held a meeting with various stakeholders on health sector reforms in Rangamati on Wednesday at Annex Building of Rangamati District Council.
Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Abu Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Commission Member of the Health Sector Reform Commission, was present.
Also present at the meeting were Health Sector Reform Commission Commission Members Professor Dr. Md. Mozaherul Hall, Professor Dr. Saeba Akhter, Professor Naila Zaman Khan, Professor Dr. Syed Md. Akram Hossain, and Dr. Azhatul Islam Khan, Dr. Ahmed Ehsanur Rahman Dr. Riaz Mahmud Tamal.
Rangamati District Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habib Ullah, Superintendent of Police Dr. SM Farhad Hossain Chowdhury, Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuen Khisa, along with doctors, nurses, teachers and students of the medical college, eminent persons of the district and media personnel were present.
The meeting discussed the progress of the work of the district health department, problem solving and things to be done to improve the quality of healthcare.
Earlier in the morning, the members of the commission visited Rangamati Medical College and Rangamati General Hospital in the district and the members of the delegation talked to the patients and inquired about their medical services.
