Health Minister's dissatisfaction with surprise visit to Haimchar Upazila Health Complex

Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain expressed his anger at the mismanagement of the hospital and the overall situation of healthcare during a surprise inspection of the Haimchar Upazila Health Complex in Chandpur on Sunday.
The Health Minister visited Haimchar Upazila Health Complex on Sunday without prior announcement. In addition to visiting different parts of the hospital, he observed the overall management of healthcare and the situation of patients receiving services. During the inspection, he noticed various mismanagement in the hospital. Expressing dissatisfaction over these issues, he gave necessary instructions to the concerned. He also directed to hold the concerned accountable for why there is such mismanagement in an important sector like healthcare .
The Health Minister was accompanied by political and administrative officials including MP from Chandpur-3 constituency Sheikh Farid Ahmed. Later, the Minister visited the 250-bed Government General Hospital in Chandpur.
