The final match of Late Nurul Huda Pathan Memorial Football Tournament was held in Tongibari, Munshiganj.
The final match between host Motukpur and Fajusha was held at the Motukpur Palli Unnayan Samaj Sheba Sangha ground in Dhipur Union of the upazila at 5 pm on Friday.
Fajusha Academy defeated host Motukpur 0-1 with the only goal scored by Fajusha Academy player Md. Kausar. Tongibari Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Wazed Wasif was present as the chief guest in the match. The game was presided over by Md. Sharifuzzoha Pathan Ripon, President of Matukpur Rural Development and Social Service Association. Bangladesh Specialist Hospital Professor Dr. MS Shamsul Arefin, Tongibari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Mohidul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Retd.) Dhaka Setara Begum, Dhipur Union Parishad Chairman Akhtar Hossain Molla, prominent businessman, educationist and social worker Dr. Osman Gani Mamun, Matukpur Bepari Bari Jame Mosque President Maskur Ahmed Bepari, General Secretary Aminul Islam, Matukpur Rural Development and Social Service Association General Secretary Sumon Bepari, and Ashraful Ulum Madrasa General Secretary Ali Akkas Bepari were present as special guests.
Among others, Abul Hashem Bepari, Shamsul Haque Morol, Md. Nuru Islam, Atiqur Rahman, Md. Shamim, BM Sumon, Md. Nurul Amin, Sharif, Babu, Rifat, Sachchi, Niloy, Sayem Bepari and others were present.
