Field Day, technical discussion on spice cultivation held in Patnitala

A Field Day and technical discussion meeting on spice demonstration under the “Spice Variety and Technology Expansion” program for the fiscal year 2024–2025 was held in Patnitala, Naogaon on Tuesday at 5 PM in Bengdom village of Nazipur Union, organized by the Upazila Agriculture Office.
The session was presided over and conducted by Abul Kalam Azad, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Naogaon. The welcome speech was delivered by Patnitala Upazila Agriculture Officer Sohrab Hossain.
Dr. Md. Azizur Rahman, Additional Director of the DAE, Rajshahi region, addressed the gathering as the chief guest.
Among the special guests who spoke were Mosammat Sabina Begum, Deputy Director of Rajshahi region; Additional Deputy Director of Naogaon Khalilur Rahman; Additional Upazila Agriculture Officer Mohaieminul Islam; Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Parvez Mosharraf; Upazila Sub-Assistant Plant Protection Officer Mashiur Rahman; and Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officers Jalal Uddin and Jahangir Alam.
President of Patnitala Press Club Ikhtiar Uddin Azad and General Secretary Rabiul Islam were also present.
Over 150 farmers, both men and women, from Nazipur municipality and 11 unions of the upazila attended the program.
