In Babuganj upazila of Barishal, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Asma Ul Husna is playing a highly proactive role in driving administrative activities, local development, and public welfare initiatives.

Since assuming her responsibilities, her hands-on monitoring of development projects, targeted efforts to upgrade the quality of education, and active participation in social awareness campaigns have earned widespread appreciation from all quarters of society.

According to upazila administration sources, Asma Ul Husna took charge as the Babuganj UNO on December 4, 2025. Since then, she has been working relentlessly to inspect ongoing infrastructure projects, enhance the standard of government services, and ensure that administrative benefits seamlessly reach ordinary citizens. Alongside her field-level inspections, she frequently extends support to the helpless and underprivileged segments of society. Her deep commitment to education, infrastructure growth, and community engagement has generated a strong positive wave among local residents.

Acknowledging her contributions, Babuganj Upazila BNP Member Secretary Wahidul Islam Prince remarked that the current UNO is placing significant emphasis on educational advancement and development activities. He added that by regularly visiting and inspecting various project sites, she is demonstrating an exemplary sense of professional responsibility and accountability.

Sharing her vision, UNO Asma Ul Husna stated that beyond performing standard administrative duties, it is crucial to routinely monitor whether development projects are being executed correctly on the ground. She emphasized that the benefits of sustainable development cannot be fully realized without building an educated and aware populace.

She further added that as a servant of the republic, her primary responsibility and ultimate goal remains to deliver government services directly to the doorsteps of the general public.

According to local residents, the enhanced field-level presence of the administration and strict supervision of ongoing public works have substantially accelerated the pace of activities across various sectors in Babuganj, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency.
