Dhaka District Superintendent of Police (SP) Shamima Parvin urged police personnel to maintain the highest standards of discipline, physical fitness, and professional integrity while discharging their duties to ensure public safety

She made the call while addressing the police force after inspecting the Master Parade of the Dhaka District Police as the chief guest at the Millbarrack Police Lines ground in the capital at 8:00 AM on Tuesday.

During the parade, she took the salute from the greeting stage and meticulously reviewed the parade contingents. Probationary Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Monowar Hossain led the parade as the commander.

While inspecting the ranks, the SP strictly evaluated the physical fitness, operational turnout, and overall discipline of the participating officers and force members. Based on their performance, she awarded Good Service (GS) marks to the personnel who demonstrated exemplary professional standards.

Expressing satisfaction with the overall performance and alignment of the force, the Dhaka SP delivered a comprehensive motivational and directional speech. She outlined key operational guidelines for the district police, emphasizing timely response, accountability, and the need to uphold the force's reputation. Following her address, she carried out a thorough inspection of all police vehicles stationed on the ground to ensure logistical readiness.

Later, at 9:00 AM, following the conclusion of the Master Parade, the Kit Parade was held at the "Firing Bird" section of the Millbarrack Police Lines. Under the overall supervision of the SP, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admini and Finance) Md. Arafatul Islam inspected the official kits, tactical gear, and equipment of the force. Senior officials of the Dhaka district police and members of various operational units were also present on the occasion.
