Dhaka-bound bus carrying 35 journalists fell into ditch while returning from Sundarbans

A bus carrying 35 journalists lost control and crashed while returning to the capital Dhaka from Satkhira. Several people were slightly injured in the accident. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the Islamkati intersection near Mirzapur Bazar on the Satkhira-Khulna road.
It is learnt that they had come to Satkhira to cover the news of the Home Affairs Advisor on May 17. They were returning to Dhaka on Sunday. The road was slippery due to the pouring rain. As a result, the bus lost control and overturned into a ditch on the side of the road. Several people were slightly injured.
Patkelghata Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mainuddin confirmed the matter and said that although the bus overturned in the accident, there were no casualties.##
