DG solves problems of DESCO Ansars in quick action

Members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party stationed at the Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) guard post in Mirpur are experiencing a significant boost in morale following decisive welfare measures initiated under the leadership of Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud.
Acting on specific instructions from the Director General, senior officials from the Dhaka Metropolitan Ansar West Zone visited the Mirpur unit on October 11 to assess working conditions, housing accommodations, and daily basic necessities.
To resolve long-standing operational hurdles, the authority immediately installed a commercial 35 kg gas cylinder with a double burner stove to streamline meal preparation, alongside a 60-liter electric water filtration unit to ensure safe drinking water.
Moreover , plans are underway to split the guard post into two distinct operational units to alleviate overcrowding for the 58 embodied Ansar personnel deployed across eight key DESCO key point installations. Field members expressed deep gratitude for the prompt leadership response, noting that addressing essential living standards directly enhances their confidence, operational preparedness, and overall efficiency in safeguarding public utility infrastructure.
