Completed training on disaster preparedness and multi-hazard management at Bagerhat under the initiative of FBCCI

A three-day training program has been completed with business representatives in Bagerhat with the aim of keeping businesses running, reducing loss of life and property during times of disaster.
This training program was organized by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Bagerhat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Safety Cell from 29th October to 31st Thursday afternoon in the seminar room of Chingri Research Center of District Headquarters.
Brigadier General (retd) Abu Naeem Md. Shahidullah, Advisor of FBCCI and former Director General of Bangladesh Fire Service, was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the training program.
BCCI Safety Cell Convenor Moniruzzaman Howladar presided over the training program organized under the "Bangladesh Preparedness Partnership" (BPP) project under the leadership of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Masudur Rahman was present as a special guest.
Members of the Private Sector Emergency Response Team comprising of local businessmen and their representatives participated in the three-day training.
