Cleanliness drive in Narail to raise public awareness for dengue prevention

A cleanliness drive was held in Narail aimed at fostering widespread public awareness and community engagement regarding dengue prevention. The campaign kicked off on Saturday morning at the Old Bus Terminal premises.
According to the Narail Deputy Commissioner's office, this special initiative was undertaken to raise public awareness and help bring the dengue situation under control. Narail Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam, Additional Deputy Commissioners Lincoln Biswas and Ahsan Mahmud Russell, and Narail Press Club General Secretary MM Mahbubur Rashid Lablu actively participated in the awareness program, alongside government officials, civil society representatives, dignitaries, and employees from various public and private institutions. A cleanliness drive was carried out at the Old Bus Terminal area with the participation of all involved.
Narail Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam stated that the program was organized to raise citizen awareness about reducing the prevalence of dengue and destroying the breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes. The concerned authorities have sought everyone's cooperation to ensure the success of this initiative.
