Citizens Bank PLC holds quarterly business review meeting
Citizens Bank PLC organized its Quarterly Business Review Meeting for September 2026 at its Head Office in Motijheel, Dhaka on Sunday to evaluate third-quarter performance and formulate strategic priorities for the remainder of the year.
Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC, Alamgir Hossain, presided over the meeting, which featured an in-depth performance review across all operational verticals, key milestones achieved, and strategic alignment with annual targets.
The meeting focused heavily on the prevailing macroeconomic landscape and its impact on the banking industry. Discussions emphasized adopting proactive business strategies, sharpening risk management protocols, and elevating operational efficiency to navigate economic volatility.
Special emphasis was laid on driving credit growth in priority sectors, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and agriculture, to support inclusive economic development and sustainable national growth.
Deputy Managing Directors Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Md. Abdul Latif, along with division heads and branch managers from across the country, participated in the session to share operational insights and actionable strategies.
