BSF arrests Bangladeshi from Jibannagar border

BSF and Indian police arrested a Bangladeshi youth named Sajib from the Jibannagar border in Chuadanga.
Arrested Sajib is the son of Md. Shafiqur Rahman of Medinipur village of Simanta union of the upazila.
He was arrested from Putikhali of Pash Bharati on the Medinipur border of the upazila around 3 pm on Monday. At that time, the rest of the Bangladeshi citizens fled from there.
The commander and director of the 58th battalion of the BGB, Lt. Col. Rafiqul Alam, confirmed the matter.
He said that on Monday, three to four Bangladeshi youths crossed the zero line and entered the interior of India through the Medinipur border of Jibannagar upazila to bring phensedyl.
At that time, three Indian youths including a Bangladeshi named Sajib were arrested in a raid by BSF and Indian police. The rest fled from there. After this incident, we contacted BSF.
He further said, the Indian BSF commander told us that 4 Bangladeshi people entered India to bring Phensedyl. At that time, a special operation was being conducted by the BSF and the police in their border area. In this, 3 Indian citizens, including a Bangladeshi youth named Sajib, were arrested by them. Sajib has been arrested by the police. And the BSF is collecting information about the remaining three who escaped.
