Barishal new DC exchanges views in Mehendiganj : Call to work together in Durga Puja, Mother Hilsa Conservation Campaign

To advance the bond of harmony in this beautiful river-surrounded Mehendiganj upazila, the newly -posted Deputy Commissioner of Barishal has called upon everyone to work together in the upcoming autumn Durga Puja and Mother Hilsa Conservation Campaign.
A view exchange meeting was held with the new Deputy Commissioner of Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain, along with all the upazila level officials, political leaders, teachers, journalists, representatives of all levels of the upazila, organized by the upazila administration of Mehendiganj on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain was the chief guest.
Mehdiganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Neshar Uddin presided over the event.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mehendiganj, Army officer in charge, police station officer in charge and many others were present on the occasion. In the exchange meeting, the guests discussed various important problems and possibilities of the upazila.
Finally, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Delwar Hossain gave Tk 25,000 and food aid to the family of fisherman Kabir Majhi (35) who was killed by lightning while fishing for hilsa fish in the river in Mehendiganj recently.
