Ansar-VDP technical training concludes in six dists

The first phase of a 60-day technical training program conducted by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) concluded across six districts—Jamalpur, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Pabna, Manikganj, and Thakurgaon—on Wednesday.
The closing ceremony for the courses covering masonry, shuttering carpentry, and steel fixing was held virtually, with Ansar-VDP Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud joining the event via video conference as the chief guest on Wednesday.
Addressing the trainees across the six districts, DG Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud urged them to apply their acquired skills with honesty, discipline, and patriotism to drive the country's socio-economic development. He highlighted the importance of skill development in fostering self-employment and expanding foreign employment opportunities, expressing confidence that modern vocational training would enhance the standard of living for trainees and their families.
Certificates and crests were distributed among successful participants across all six locations during the concluding ceremonies. In Manikganj, Ansar-VDP Dhaka Range Deputy Director General Asaduzzaman Gani, Manikganj 36 Ansar Battalion Director Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, and District Commandant Aminul Islam attended the event.
Jamalpur District Commandant Md. Mir Bahar Shahadat Hossain, Sirajganj District Commandant Ali Reza Rabbi, Naogaon District Commandant Md. Humayun Kabir, Pabna District Commandant Md. Mahbubur Rahman Sarkar, and Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Rafiqul Haque along with District Commandant Nazrul Islam Bhuiyan presided over the closing ceremonies in their respective districts on Wednesday.
