Opening a new horizon for international employment, four trained members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) have secured direct job offers from the renowned Japanese enterprise Hirata Planning Co., Ltd. following their inaugural Japanese language and technical assessment.
The breakthrough marks a significant milestone in the force's ongoing initiative to develop skilled human resources and expand overseas employment opportunities for its members. The successful candidates were among those undergoing language training when they made a firm commitment to excellence during the Prime Minister's inspection at the 46th National Assembly of the force.
A delegation from the Japanese employer—comprising Director Hirata Tomohiro and Marketing Manager Hasegawa Minoru, accompanied by two Bangladeshi job-training representatives—visited the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy in Shafipur, Gazipur, to conduct direct interviews and language proficiency evaluations.
The viva-voce board was hosted at the academy’s historic Shaheed Ellahi Box Auditorium in the presence of the Japanese delegates and Director of Project-Training Md. Moinul Islam, alongside senior Ansar-VDP officials. The evaluation rigorously tested candidates' technical knowledge and communication capabilities in Japanese.
The participating candidates had successfully completed three months of training in Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 level followed by another three months at the N4 level. Under the special initiative of Ansar-VDP Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, the academy has been running intensive specialized crash programs in Japanese language education, motor driving, and mechanics to prepare trainees for international labor markets swiftly and competently.
During the assessment, the Japanese representatives expressed high satisfaction with the candidates' technical proficiency, discipline, work ethics, traditional etiquette, and command of the Japanese language. Impressed by their caliber, the delegation immediately extended official job offers to four trainees.
The successful candidates who received direct employment offers are Hosne Mokammel Jihad from Mymensingh, Md. Imanur Rahman Khan from Satkhira, Md. Rifat Ali from Bogra, and Rafiqul Islam Robin from Feni. Expressing immense joy over their selection, the candidates extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Ansar-VDP leadership for facilitating this career-defining opportunity.
Under the visionary planning and guidance of the Director General, the Ansar-VDP has undertaken a comprehensive roadmap to secure overseas employment for one hundred thousand members. To align with international labor demands and ensure safe, broker-free migration, the force has formulated modern technical training frameworks and obtained the necessary licensing for its own recruiting agency, "Prantik Shakti Limited."
This milestone achievement not only creates dignified foreign employment avenues for force members but also promises to boost national remittance inflows, accelerate socio-economic development, and solidify Bangladesh's position in the global labor market.
