Barauliya's Holy land Chittagong was also previously called Islamabad or through the name of Auliya’s and saints , Islam was cultivated or nursered in the present land of Chattogram(Chittagong) . Then sometimes Chatti Gaon, Chatgaon. Chit Su Gong etc. by naming today's Chittagong changed named for about 48 times in phases.

A coastal based Upazila (previous Thana) located beside the bank of scenic beauty-enriched Karanaphuli river and Bay of Bengal in the south-west is called Banshkhali.Son of the Napora village of Banskhali is Alhaj Mujibur Rahman CIP , son of Late Alhaj Master Nazir Ahmed and Ambia Khatun. His position is 6th among siblings. In early he already a living legend in the arena of industry and business, a social philanthropist who is known as one name all over Bangladesh. He was elected as CIP (Industry) and CIP (Commerce) several times from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. More than 50,000 people of Banskhali including other places of Chittagong are employed in his more than 35 industrial establishments viz. Smart Jeans Ltd., Smart Jacket BD Ltd., Sihan Specialised Textile Mills Ltd., Chittagong Denim Mills Ltd., BM Container Depot Ltd., BM Energy Ltd. etc. He created the job opportunity for unemployed persons of the upazila.

In addition to business and commerce, he has been playing an important role in socio-economic development by forming "Alhaj Master Nazir Ahmed Trust" in the name of his father: Late Alhaj Master Nazir Ahmed. He is working hard for the overall development of Banshkhali including education, health, business, social, cultural, religious and rural areas.

Managing Director of Smart Group, Editor of widely circulated daily Purbadesh newspaper, formerly Finance Secretary of Chittagong South District Awami League, currently Vice President Alhaj Mujibur Rahman CIP .He founded Master Nazir Ahmed Degree College, Ambia Khatun Mahila Cadet Dakhil Madrasa, Master Nazir Ahmed Govt. Primary school, Zubeda Orphanage and Hafez Khana, has played a leading role in the establishment of numerous mosques and madrasas. Besides, through this trust, schools, colleges, madrassas are providing free books, educational materials, educational scholarships, medical allowances and many other opportunities to the poor and talented students every year which continues to play a leading role in the spread of education. Not only that, Alhaj Mujibur Rahman CIP, the bright star of Banshkhali, is playing an important role in the overall development of Banshkhali. Recently, some traitors, reeds of the society have tried to deface his achieved state honors, which is not desirable at all.

The malicious people of the society always become an extreme obstacle to the development of the society and the state. They themselves do not want to do anything for the welfare of the people, rather they do not like others to play a role w hich is very indicative of Mirzafar's arrogance and inferiority. They should remember that good thinking leads to success in the state, society and life, and jealousy/reluctance leads to mental turmoil and suffering. As many people say, great intentions and great deeds do not stop which is like the spray water on a duck’s body.

Strong determination always overcomes the ocean of criticism to reach its goal effortlessly and succeeds in action and becomes famous in the world.Finally, as a social state and above all as an honest and worthy human being, this beacon of light of Chittagong and Banshkhali will spread its bright light in all areas and people of all classes will always pray for him.

From the beginning to the end of Banshkhali, he has provided employment to thousands of unemployed people from every neighborhood and village, whose family contribution is scattered all over Banshkhali, every privileged child of the family who mingles with people of all levels of Banshkhali in one line, he is Banshkhali all sect of public eye.

Based on the above information, the people of Banshkhali want to see Mr. Mujibur Rahman CIP, the current Vice President of South District Awami League, as the boatman from Banshkhali i.e. Chittagong 16 constituencies in the next national parliament elections with the aim of building a smart Banshkhali. This is the highest expectation of all the people of Banskhali irrespective of caste and creed.

I wish Alhaj Mujibur Rahman CIP’s good health and long life and I am praying to Almighty Allah to fulfill the expectations of Banshkhali residents with the boat symbol in the next parliamentary elections with the aim of building smart ” Banshkhali” as well as Smart Bangladesh as dreamed by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
