Islamic Youth Movement's prayer for forgiveness of journalists Miraj, Yakub Sardar in Barishal

A prayer ceremony was held to pray for the eternal peace of the souls of Hafez Muhammad Yakub Sardar, former president of the Muladi Upazila branch of the Islamic Youth Movement Bangladesh, and M. Miraj Hossain, a prominent journalist from Barisal and the Barishal Bureau Chief of the Dainik Banik Barta newspaper.
The prayer program was held at the M.C. Auditorium in Barisal on Wednesday after Asr prayer, under the initiative of the Barisal District Branch of the Islamic Youth Movement Bangladesh.
During the prayer ceremony, various aspects of the lives of the deceased were remembered and prayers were offered for the forgiveness of their souls.
The leaders present at the event said that Hafez Muhammad Yakub Sardar was a dedicated worker and former responsible person of the Islamic Youth Movement. On the other hand, journalist M. Miraj Hossain played an important role in the journalism arena of Barisal. Their death is an irreparable loss for the organization and the society.
