Plantation in festive atmosphere at govt primary schools in Mirzapur

With the theme of "One child, one dream, the future generation developed with flowers", sablings were planted to 170 government primary schools in Mirzapur, Tangail in a festive atmosphere at the same time on Wednesday.
UNO and Upazila Parishad Administrator A.B.M. Arful Islam inaugurated the plantation as the chief guest at Baimhati Government Primary School in Upazila Sadar.
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Zulfikar Haider, Upazila Primary Education Officer Jannatul Ferdous, Upazila Agriculture Officer Maksuda Khanam, Head Teacher Md. Jasim Uddin, Assistant Teacher Md. Farhad Hossain, officials from various departments of the upazila administration and local media personnel were present.
Mirzapur UNO A.B.M Ariful Islam told journalists "A child, a dream, a flower, a future generation developed with this theme of Tangail Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque Sir, one Krishna Chura, one Jarul and one Sonalu tree saplings have been planted in 1,623 government primary schools simultaneously in 170 Mirzapur Upazila and 12 Upazilas in Tangail district.
To protect the balance of the environment, 4,869 trees have been planted in Tangail district in a single day.
People from all walks of life have appreciated this exceptional initiative of the Deputy Commissioner.
