​Dhaka District Police holds monthly crime review meeting

The monthly crime review meeting of the Dhaka District Police for May 2026 was held on Thursday at Mill Barrack Police Lines in the city.

The meeting was chaired by Dhaka District Superintendent of Police Shamima Parvin, who evaluated the overall law and order situation and issued fresh directives to ensure public safety.

Md. Arafatul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin and Finance), moderated the session.

The meeting reviewed various criminal activities reported across the district over the past month, analyzing the effectiveness of ongoing anti-crime operations and law enforcement strategies.

Senior officials of the Dhaka District Police along with OCs and ICsof all police units within the district attended.

Addressing the officials, SP Shamima Parvin provided essential guidelines on maintaining stable law and order, controlling crime rates, and prioritizing public security.

She urged all unit chiefs to perform their duties with dedication and strictly enforce the law to preserve peace across the district.
