Arafat Rahman Koco Memorial Muksudpur Inter-Union Football Tournament-2026 on Friday (July 3) afternoon at Muksudpur Mini Stadium

The opening ceremony has been held.
The football tournament was inaugurated by Md. Selimuzzaman Molla Selim, Co-Organizing Secretary of BNP's National Executive Committee and Honorable Member of Parliament for Gopalganj-1 constituency.
Muksudpur UNO Mahmud Ashiq Kabir presided over the program, while Muksudpur Police Station OC Abdullah Al Mamun, Muksudpur Upazila BNP President Abdus Salam Khan, General Secretary Md. Tariqul Islam Raju, Muksudpur Upazila Youth Development Officer Sayad Uddin Ahmed and Muksudpur Upazila Sports Association Member Secretary Saiful Islam Pallu were present as special guests.

Also present were Upazila BNP Office Secretary Abdul Qayyum Sharif, Agriculture Affairs Secretary Md. Bachchu Sheikh, Muksudpur Municipal BNP President Abul Bashar Tooltu Biswas., General Secretary Md. Mashiur Rahman Mintu, Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Mahfuz Hasan, Joint Convener Kamruzzaman Swapan, Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Mehedi Hasan Biplob and Member Secretary Abdul Qayyum Munshi, Khandarpar Union BNP Convener Shahidul Islam Munshi, Gobindpur Union BNP Member Secretary Mithu Laskar, Muksudpur Press Club President Md. Chiru Mia, General Secretary Kazi Md. Ohidul Islam, Joint General Secretary Delwar Hossain, Samchul Arefin Mukta, Office Secretary Paresh Biswas, Publicity Secretary Md. Mamun Mollah, Sports Secretary Babul Sheikh, Members Nur Alam Sheikh and Miran Gazi, Upazila administration officials, prominent figures from the political, social and sports fields and a large number of football-loving spectators. National football commentator Zahidul Islam Borhan served as the commentator at the event.

The opening match was played between Khandarpar Union and Mochna Union. Mochna Union defeated Khandarpar Union by a margin of 1-0 to start the tournament victoriously.
