Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Mr. Mohammad Wasif, paid a courtesy call on Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Dhaka, at his office today, Wednesday. Kamran Dangal, Counselor at the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka, was also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the potential for expanding joint educational and research collaborations between the University of Dhaka and various higher education institutions in Pakistan. They also exchanged views on possibilities for faculty, student, and administrative staff exchange programs.
Mr. Mohammad Wasif expressed interest in enrolling Pakistani diplomats in a diploma course on the Bangla language at the University of Dhaka to enhance their proficiency.
