
BRUR hands over certificates, cheques to students injured in July Uprising

July Shaheed Smriti Foundation has handed over certificates and cheques to students injured in July-August 2024 Uprising at Rangpur Begum Rokeya University onTuesday. Vice-Chancellor of BRUR Prof Dr. Mohammad Shawkat Ali was present as the chief guest in the Syndicate Meeting Room of the University's Administrative Building and presented these certificates and checks to 25 injured students. At that time, he said that students from all over the country, including Begum Rokeya University, have contributed to building a new Bangladesh by risking their lives in the July-August 2024 uprising. This debt of the students is not worth paying. He wished the injured students of the July Revolution a speedy recovery. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation for coming forward to provide medical care to the injured students of Berobi. He also thanked the Principal of Rangpur Medical College and the Medical Board for providing guidance on the proper treatment of the injured students.The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Mohammad Ilias Pramanik, Director of the Student Counseling and Guidance Department. Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid, Verification Head of Julif University, Dr. Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid, Registrar of the University, Dr. Mohammad Ferdous Rahman, Proctor Dr. Mohammad Ferdous Rahman, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Berobi Medical Center, Dr. A. M. Shahriar, injured students and other concerned persons were present.
