BNP's jailed leaders, activists held gathering in Sreepur

A gathering of BNP's jailed leaders and activists in the anti-Awami dictatorship movement was held in Sreepur, Gazipur.
Later, the persecuted leaders and activists were felicitated with a crest of honor. These programs were held at the Sea-Gull Resort in Maona Union of the upazila on Saturday afternoon.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Executive Committee's Joint Health Affairs Secretary Professor Dr. SM Rafiqul Islam Bachchu spoke as the chief guest at the gathering and reception organized by the Jail-Oppressed Nationalist Unity Forum Sreepur Upazila and Municipal Branch.
The program was inaugurated by Sreepur Upazila BNP Convener Abdul Motaleb under the chairmanship of the organizing committee president Ariful Islam Sarkar and moderated by the secretary SM Farhad Mia. Among others, Sreepur Municipal BNP convener Humayun Kabir Sarkar, Sreepur Upazila BNP member secretary Khairul Kabir Mondal Azad, convening committee member freedom fighter Fazlul Haque, Sreepur Municipal BNP member secretary Billal Hossain Bepari, senior joint convener Anwar Hossain Bepari, and others spoke.
