Army recovers looted goods from opponent's house following murder in Narail

Army recovers looted goods from opponent's house following murder of Hasim Molya (38) in Silimpur village of Hamidpur union in Kalia upazila of Narail on Sunday.

The army conducted a special rescue and search operation in Silimpur area of Hamidpur union based on secret information.

Kalia Police Station OC Md. Rashidul Islam confirmed this matter.

At that time, members of the Kalia temporary army camp recovered and seized a fridge, chair, table, sofa set, gas cylinder, gas stove, water pump, dining table and other furniture from the house of Khabir Molla in Silimpur village. The recovered goods were later handed over to the Kalia police station, according to sources at the Kalia temporary army camp.

In this regard, Kalia OC Md. Rashidul Islam said that last night, the army recovered some furniture from the house in a van and submitted it to the custody of Kalia police station. Currently, the law and order situation in Silimpur village is under control.

It is mentioned that on Saturday afternoon, a person named Hasim Molya was killed while undergoing treatment in an attack by opponents in Silimpur village of Kalia upazila of Narail. After that, several houses of the deceased's opponents were vandalized and burned.
