Upazila admin distributes food items to 100 flood-affected families in Tungipara

The upazila administration stands by the flood-affected people of Patgati Union of Tungipara Upazila of Gopalganj. Relief items were distributed to 100 flood-affected families in Patgati Madhyapara area of Ward No. 3 of Patgati Union No. 4 of the upazila at 4 pm on Tuesday.
Tungipara UNO Jahirul Alam was present as the chief guest at the relief distribution ceremony. Acting Chairman of Patgati Union Parishad Subhash Biswas and UP member Nazrul Sheikh were present at the time.
The upazila administration distributed daily necessities including rice, pulses, potatoes, salt and onions to each family.
During the relief distribution, UNO Zahirul Alam said, “The upazila administration is always by the side of the flood-affected people. These relief materials may not be the solution to all the problems, but they will benefit the affected families to some extent. As per the government's instructions, assistance activities for the flood-affected people will continue.”
Subhash Biswas, acting chairman of Patgati Union Parishad, said, “We have been by the side of the flood-affected people from the beginning.
